SUMMARY:2024 Black Educators Night Out
DESCRIPTION:Urban Ed Academy\, BlackFemaleProject’s Teacher Truth initiative\, and Black Teacher Project have united as partnering nonprofits serving Black educators in the Bay Area to host Black Educators’ Night Out. This year’s event collaboration speaks to the growing community of Black educators and combines two separate events into one big joy-centered gathering that celebrates and honors Black teachers. \nTo show our appreciation for the unique gifts Black teachers show up with everyday to support our students and strengthen our communities\, we host this evening of music\, dancing\, food\, drinks\, wellness activities\, and more. Educators join to relax\, mingle\, reflect\, and laugh in this curated Black teacher affinity space. \nBlack Educators’ Night Out supports Black educator’s mental health and wellness by providing: \n\nan elevated and curated space of appreciation\ncurated wellness activations and joyful activities\nresources for professional and personal development\naffinity fellowship with other Black educators\n\nTHANKS FOR ATTENDING!
